Some Highlights of

• We celebrated 13 wonderful years of marriage. It is still amazing to be married to my very best friend that I am madly in love with.
• I visited my beautiful daughter Casie and her husband John, my Dad and stepmom
  Carolyn, little brother Aaron and his beautiful wife Kristen, my sister Debby
  and my nieces Rachel and Adriana and my brand new niece Samadhi and had a
  wonderful time.
• We bought a 2011 CRV-(Titanium Urban Metallic)
• We went to Chicago went to museums, parks, trolley rides, boat rides, tours, deep dish pizza, hot dogs, Second City, etc.
• We visited the Biltmore with Jeff's parents Sue and Gene and had a wonderful weekend full of touring, shopping, eating good food and having a wonderful stay at a bed and breakfast in Asheville, NC.
• I got lots of Payton hugs and kisses!

Okay, so that is it for 2011....we are ready to get this party started....Watch out 2012, the best is yet to come!

Biltmore

Here it is.  A beautiful place indeed.  I think this is a Christmas tree, although it didn't seem to be decorated.  The whole place was way too crowded and we ended up in long hallways with closed doors for long periods of time until we got to a room on display.  I think they changed the routes through the house to accomodate two lines at once, so it was very fragmented.  We saw enough to see how very beautiful a place it is.

And here is the bed part.  It was a georgeous old mansion, with beautiful antiques but with modern amenities.  All except for Jeff's adventure in taking a shower in a claw foot tub where the shower head hit somewhere  below his chin we loved it
